Dinner with Roy Richards, 'A stroll through Jura'
My old friend Roy Richards is excited about the Jura and asked to make this small wine producing region (some 50 miles east of Burgundy) the theme of his dinner. He has assembled traditional and more modern whites as well as a vibrant and exciting red.
Roy believes that the region can offer real individuality from a cool climate and remains remarkably undiscovered. Chateau Chalon’s Vin Jaune is a classic which has long been admired by wine buffs but not encountered very often amongst the dinner party set. I hope you share my curiosity and enthusiasm for this journey of discovery.
