HEAD HOUSEKEEPER
Hambleton Hall is a luxury, 5-star country house hotel set on the Hambleton Peninsula above Rutland Water. At Hambleton Hall, we have 17 beautifully appointed bedrooms, and pride ourselves on providing the highest standard of accommodation, outstanding customer service and for creating wonderful, lasting memories for our guests.
We are looking for a Head Housekeeper to lead our team of 10 – 14 people, including housekeepers, porters and laundry assistants. This is a hands on role, working closely with the team to ensure our rooms become a sanctuary of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

In return for delivering an amazing service you will receive:
· A salary between £26,000 – £31,200, dependent upon experience.
· Support with accommodation if relocation is required.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week on a rota (5 days out of 7).
This will include weekends, early mornings and occasional evenings.
You will also be required to work on public holidays on a rota basis.
Your main duties will include:
· Leading, motivating, training and managing the team.
· Ensuring the smooth operation of all housekeeping duties and responsibilities. Working alongside the team to ensure our guests expectations are managed efficiently and on time.
· Plan and organise staffing rotas.
· Conduct bedroom checks, with a keen eye for detail, to ensure that the rooms have been prepared to our high standards.
· Liaising closely with our reception team to support our guests checking in and out.
· Work with our maintenance team to ensure any work is completed to a satisfactory standard and in a timely manner.
· Responsible for the security of the department, guest bedrooms, and storage areas at all times.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
· Energetic, with the ability to multitask.
· Ability to lead and motivate a team.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· A flair for housekeeping.
· Your own transport, Hambleton Hall is in a rural location with no public transport.
CHEF DE PARTIE

Your day will consist of:
Assisting the Head Chef during service for timing and progress of all dishes.
Demonstrating passion, pride and initiative for all dishes serviced in your section.
Being a strong team player, you will be willing to learn and develop yourself as well as assisting others in their own learning process, sharing your knowledge and experience with junior members of the team.
Being aware of Health & Safety and Food safety standards, ensuring due diligence checks are carried out as required.
Understanding that cleaning and hygiene is a must and that your section and the overall kitchen is always spotless and well maintained.
Ideally, we are looking for a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a 2 rosette, preferably 3 rosettes, establishment.
