Full and part-time waiting staff
Full and part-time vacancies exist to join our Restaurant Team. The role encompasses mis–en–place, breakfast, lunch and dinner service working in all areas of the restaurant and front of house. Excellent attention to detail and high standards are required with on-site training.
Waiting Staff play a key role in the overall experience of our guests. You will be the face of our business for every guest that walks through our door so we’re looking for Waiting Staff who enjoy working with people.
1 year plus experience in food and beverage is required and further training will be provided.
Chef de Partie (Main & Pastry Kitchen)
As Chef de Partie at Hambleton Hall you are the reason our guests keep coming back for more. Our chefs work as part of a team to impress our guests, creating unforgettable experiences and exceeding expectations from breakfast right through to dinner, to ensure that every guest wants to return. You will be a team player able to deal with the pressure of running a busy operation for quality and perfection in every single dish.
- To assist the Head Chef during service for timing and progress of all dishes.
- To take ownership and ensure that the presentation, taste, texture and quantity are maintained to the standards laid by the Company.
- To take ownership of your creations, alongside demonstrating passion and pride for all dishes serviced in your section.
- You will be aware of Health & Safety and Food safety standards, ensuring due diligence checks are carried out as required.
- You will understand that cleaning and hygiene is a must and ensure that your section and the overall kitchen is always spotless and well maintained
- As a team worker, you will be willing to learn and develop as well as assisting others in their learning process, sharing knowledge, passion and pride about the hospitality industry.
Previous experience in a similar role required, within a minimum of 3 rosette establishment.
The role is varied and interesting, our housekeeping/laundry team play a crucial role in ensuring our guest rooms, fine linens, furniture and common areas are kept to the very high standards expected by our guests.
Your primary role will be to assist where ever necessary within the department so you will be required to have a good knowledge of all housekeeping requirements including our in-house laundry facilities.
We are looking for friendly individuals who have enthusiasm and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service even at busy times.
Any cleaning experience would be an advantage, but not essential. Own transport required, as our location is not serviced by public transport. This role requires candidates to work 5 out of 7 days which includes early starts, weekends and evenings.
The hotel porter is responsible for providing a high and professional level of customer service at all times. Duties will include assisting guests’ luggage, parking cars, support with housekeeping and linen portering. This is a part time position predominantly working Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but with flexibility to cover holidays and possibly weekends and evenings on a rota basis. Previous hotel/hospitality experience not essential.
