Initially the aim was to rediscover the taste of good bread, not the taste of sugar, malt and so on. A magical flavour can be conjured from unadulterated organic flour, salt and water using the slow, traditional processes that made the bread that fed our ancestors.
The bakery supplies bread and breakfast items to Hambleton Hall, and welcomes visitors to its production facility and shop at Exton some 10 minutes drive from the Hotel.
